The Lighthouse

For this project, we embraced a seaside theme paired with neutral, calming tones to transform a small room into a welcoming hub for children with SEND. The chosen palette of soft blues, sandy beiges, and gentle greys creates a serene environment designed to soothe and support wellbeing. Natural textures and subtle coastal motifs enhance the space without overwhelming it, allowing the children to feel both comforted and inspired. This thoughtful design approach ensures the room serves as a peaceful retreat that encourages relaxation and positive engagement.

The nautical theme truly brought the room to life, with every detail reflecting the charm and mystery of the seaside. From anchors and ship wheels to colourful sea creatures and shells, the space felt immersive and welcoming. This thoughtful design not only transformed the room’s atmosphere but also sparked curiosity and conversation among the children and staff alike.
