History Curriculum Corridor

This school had a corridor corner that needed brightening. Working from the themes in the personalised curriculum, we designed and painted a mural that reflects the children’s cultures and their learning in a way that feels natural and welcoming.

The pupil’s reactions said everything! Seeing themselves and their stories represented on the walls brought a real sense of pride and excitement to the space.

To build on that, Ricky introduced a VR experience using a Meta Quest 3 headset, allowing the children to step inside the mural design. They could explore how it developed from early sketches through to the finished piece, giving them a hands-on way to connect with the process.

Now, the mural brings light and character to the corridor area every day, reinforcing the school’s values that feels genuine and an integral part of who they are.
